If you are looking for an Instagramable treatment, you would struggle to find anything more striking than a Carbon facial. This treatment has been around for some time. It has been named the red carpet facial and the China Doll facial to name a few. If you haven’t seen this treatment in action have a look at our Facebook and Instagram page, or our tiktok and YouTube channel. Even better, book the treatment, grab your phone and you can create a very eye-catching reel.
Why is it eye-catching?
We apply black carbon paste to your face and our laser impressively blasts away the black carbon solution from the skin. With Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Anniston and Angelina Jolie all purported to be fans, does it really live up to the hype?
The carbon peel laser facial involves coating the face with a solution of carbon paste and then removing it with a Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser. We would use our Lynton Lumina 1064nm handpiece. The treatment is pain-free and very low-risk, with most people only displaying some very mild redness after treatment. The treatment is suitable for most people, and whilst it won’t remove deep wrinkles, it will give the skin a collagen boost. It will also reduce fine lines, shrink pores and improve acne (it can also be used on backne). Most people will notice an immediate brightness and radiancy to their skin post treatment.
We don’t just use any carbon paste we use the DEKA Peel carbon paste. Formulated specifically for use in conjunction with Q-switched lasers. The DEKA Peel is a hydrating carbon product that leaves skin feeling softer and smoother. It gives you that flawless look with minimal downtime. It contains hyaluronic acid to boost hydration and Vitamin B3 to reduce inflammation and reduce acne. The peel works in conjunction with the laser to enhance collagen production, reduce inflammation, and improve acne.
The Carbon facial and DEKA Peel are safe to use on all skin types. This allows us to offer the VIP treatment to all of our clients.
We love this treatment at the clinic and it’s a personal favourite of mine. The best way I can describe the sensation is; imagine the breakfast cereal Rice Crispies and you have the little snap, crackle and pop, its like little tapping on your skin and its surprisingly relaxing.
